Virtual Exhibit is an excellent way to present written and typed documents to the public without having to type the data into a database. You can simply image the documents and include them in your Virtual Exhibit. Scanning: We suggest scanning your documents into PastPerfect at 300DPI for a normal typed page. We also suggest scanning in true color and not forcing the page to Black and White. Setting up Virtual Exhibit: There are only a few settings to make your Virtual Exhibit page more readable. If you open the Virtual Exhibit designer, then click on the "Images 1" box, you will be able to click "Design." At the bottom of the screen, there is a place to chage the max image width and hieght. Change these numbers to 995 x 995. That's all there is to it. Once you have selected the records you want in Virtual Exhibit, use the "Create Website" function to construct the HTML. When you preview the site, your text images should be easily readable. Exhibit: To see an example of a text document online, click here. Click on the image of the document to eventually get to the large image page. If you have any difficulty, please don't hesitate to call the support
