4: Technical Tip - Helpful End-of-the-Year Reports

As the end of 2011 approaches, many organizations utilize year-end summary reports relating to their Donations, Dues Payments, and In-kind Gifts.  These reports can help you review the achievements of the past year and set new goals for the future.

The Pledges/Receipts screen is a great place to start.  Be sure to select the tab for the Entire Year at the top and then select your current year in the left sidebar.  There are several report options from this screen.  Monetary totals can be found at the end of each report.

5:  Free PastPerfect Update - 5.0b4

• In Archives, when data is entered in fields in "Identity Statement" or "Context," the tab names become bold. 
• Catalog Date and Catalog By fields are now available as Query Results fields. To set up fields you want to view in search results, please go to Setup | Query Fields and select your table. Then click the button "Change Query Results Field List."
  
• If an error occurs when backing up images and multimedia to hard drive or removable drive, the error message will list the files not backed up.
  
• When making a global data change for a catalog list, the Field drop-down menu has selections whether the list has records from one catalog or multiple catalogs.
  

New Feature: If you add fields to an existing Report Maker report, you now have the option to either rebuild the layout or keep the current layout. If you select Rebuild Layout, Report Maker will automatically add the field(s) and take the report design back to the default setting. If you have made design changes to your report, you can run the report with the existing layout. This way you keep your layout changes and add the fields using the Modify Report Layout tools.  For more information about modifying reports, please see Chapter 19 "Advanced Report Modifications" in the User's Guide.
