3. Tip of the Month

Did you know you can save up to three custom forms for your individual and membership letters? If you are using version 3.5A4 or above, you have the choice of saving your custom letters as form 1, 2 or 3. Now you can create letters that fit on your institution’s letterhead AND create forms for your special mailings, such as holiday cards and membership cards. To use these custom forms, go to the Membership tab and click on the Setup button. Then click on either Individual Letters & Email or Membership Letters and click on the Modify Custom Forms button. You will then have a choice of which form you want to modify – form 1, 2, or 3. After you make your changes to the form, save it and exit back to the Membership Setup screen. Click on the letter with which you want to use this form or click Add to start a new letter. Then click the Compose Letter button. At the bottom of that screen, you have a choice for the custom form you want to use – form 1, 2, or 3. Choose that custom form, then exit and you will be set to print your letters or modify another custom form.

*The Carson County Square House Museum*

The Carson County Square House Museum is located in Panhandle, TX and serves as a cultural center for the Texas Panhandle area. Since its start in 1967 with one structure, the museum has grown to include more than 14 structures, as well as a library, two art galleries, a wildlife gallery, and more! Well known for the “seven trunks” program it brings into area classrooms, the museum strongly utilizes education to fulfill its mission of providing “the highest possible level of museum experience through the collection, care, exhibition, interpretation, and demonstration of items that illustrate the history, natural history, and art of the Texas Panhandle.”

The Square House Museum was the 7th museum in the US to be accredited by AAM, and is currently using PastPerfect to manage their collections and aid in the reaccredidation process. To learn more about the Carson County Square House Museum, check out their website at www.squarehousemuseum.org!
