Here's the Story:
At the turn of the century the Rocky Pine Ranch did not have electricity or running water. As one of the first residents of the farm, Lura Cox Hilton (Granny) had to do her evening sewing by candlelight. This stag candlestick holder was one that they used only for special occassions and holidays.
