3. What's new in the latest version 3.5A5?
We are always responsive to clients suggestions and incorporated the following into our newest version.
-Increase length of original object format field on image information screen to 40 characters
To create a better Key Word research tool, you can choose the fields you want to search for each catalog (Objects, Photos, Archives and Library). Some fields may give you more productive results than others. You can de-select the fields that are not as helpful. For instance, you mostly search for content words that might be in the description, notes, event, collection, and other fields. You might eliminate condition and maintenance fields from the search list. PastPerfect will no longer search those fields and speed the query process. To customize your Key Word Search Fields, go to the Utilities tab at the Main Menu and select the Key Word Setup button. For each catalog, select the fields you want searched by unchecking and checking the fields.
It is also a good idea to Rebuild your Key Word Indexes after you have added or removed records. This can be done with your reindex by making sure you check key word rebuild at the bottom of the reindex list.
