PastPerfect-Online is our Web publishing export tool that lets you create separate database files containing just the information you choose to share with your online visitors.

You have the ability to select the catalog records, images and fields you want to publish. Once you’ve selected the records you want to share online, PastPerfect-Online’s wizard walks you through building a fully searchable, collections-based website. Only the records and fields you select will be available to the public, and your online images can be watermarked without affecting your permanent PastPerfect images.

PastPerfect-Online comes with built-in research tools and browsing features. Customizable email forms help you solicit feedback on items in the collection and provide Web visitors the opportunity to request image reproductions. Visitors can also email links to friends directly from your online records. PastPerfect-Online comes with a monthly search statistics report that gives you a total number of searches, a breakdown of search types and the most popular searches and records. PastPerfect-Online also includes free submission to Google indexing. Once enabled, your collections become accessible to anyone using this popular search engine.

No Web design or programming expertise is needed to give your museum a world-class Web presence. Simple design options allow you to create a site that complements your existing website. If you don't have a website, PastPerfect-Online includes a free splash page for all of the important information about your museum.

PastPerfect-Online is capable of searching and displaying hundreds of thousands of catalog records. For a modest annual fee, we host your data and Web sized images at our Web servers. There is no need to maintain your own servers.
