Online Training is back due to popular demand! PastPerfect Version 5.0 training helps get you started off on the right foot with collections and contact management.
Online classes are a great way to learn PastPerfect without the cost of travel! You will be online with a live PastPerfect Trainer who will demonstrate how to effectively use PastPerfect 5.0. You will be able to see the trainer’s PastPerfect program on your own computer and hear the trainer online or over a long distance conference call. Each class is spread out over three days, so you can attend training and still have time to fulfill your daily responsibilities.
If you are a new user of PastPerfect, these classes are an excellent starting point! If you are an experienced user, Online Training can help you refine your ability to use the software and take advantage of new features PastPerfect 5.0 has to offer.

Instruction will include navigating the PastPerfect 5.0 program, basic and advanced cataloging, using the new Nomenclature 3.0 with PastPerfect, the Accession process, managing authority files, tips on researching, and keeping your data safe. "Managing Contacts, Donations, and Membership with PastPerfect 5.0" is here to make life easier by showing you how to streamline many of the tasks involved in good contact management. Instruction will include creating contacts and memberships, documenting donations, dues payments and volunteer hours, and focusing mailings by creating Contact Lists and mail merge letters. Tips on emailing contacts and keeping your data safe will also be discussed. Class attendees will receive a FREE copy of the “Managing Contacts, Donations and Membership with PastPerfect 5.0” Training CD, which complements this course.
Additional Online Training Information
Online training classes are taught by an experienced PastPerfect instructor via internet and conference call, using a webinar product. You will have access to your instructor, just as you would if you were in a real classroom. Online training classes are limited to participants who have access to DSL or faster internet connections.
These classes will allow participants to listen via their computers over the internet or by using a telephone. All participants will be able to communicate with the trainer through the webinar’s chat function.
For those who wish to use the telephone option, please note that this will be a long distance conference call. While we suggest that attendees use the telephone option, we understand that for some organizations it is cost prohibitive.
Participants using the VoIP option (listening via the computer) will not be able to communicate verbally with other participants or the instructor. To minimize distraction, a headset is preferred, no speakerphones please!
